HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. (FOX Carolina) – The District Attorney’s Office has determined whether or not an officer was legally justified in the March shooting of a man who was armed with knives during a mental health crisis.
Officials said on March 15, officers with the Hendersonville Police Department were called to the Hebron Terrace Apartments for a knife-wielding suspect. When they arrived, officers were unable to make contact with anyone inside.
