FLETCHER, N.C. (FOX Carolina) – Asheville Regional Airport (AVL) announced that a new ride app and taxi pick-up area will be available to travelers beginning on Tuesday.
Officials said that the change is part of AVL’s planned efforts to improve the passenger experience while maintaining safe, secure and efficient roadway operations.
Passengers using taxis or ride app services such as Uber and Lyft, will be picked up at the new Ride App and Taxi Pick-up location in a designated lot just south of the new rental car center and baggage claim, a six-minute walk from the terminal.
