Brother Wolf Animal Rescue buys building for new adoption center after Helene

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — A prominent animal rescue organization in western North Carolina will soon have a new, permanent adoption center after Hurricane Helene destroyed its original facility in September 2024.

Brother Wolf Animal Rescue announced Wednesday it purchased the new site in a building on Tunnel Road near downtown Asheville, one formerly home to Black Dome Mountain Sports. An official with the outdoor sports store confirmed it will move to Highland Brewing Company.
