BUNCOMBE COUNTY, N.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office announced Friday that a former Buncombe County Detention Facility Officer has been fired and charged.
Deputies said that 31-year-old Cameron Blaine Taylor was fired Thursday afternoon and charged with willful failure to discharge duties. He was booked into the Buncombe County Detention Facility at 7:40 p.m. and is being held on $10,000 bond.
According to officials, Taylor is being housed in a facility outside of Buncombe County. Taylor has been a detention officer with the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office for less than a year…
