LITHONIA, Ga. — At a busy McDonald’s in east suburban Atlanta, owner-operator John Hurt is hoping customers will stop by for more than burgers and fries. This summer, Hurt is putting the spotlight on a lineup of vibrant new beverages designed to bring bold flavors — and a little fun — to the drive-thru experience.
From fruit-forward refreshers to soda-inspired cold brews, the drinks menu at the McDonald’s on Panola Road in Lithonia is getting a major refresh.
“We just want to make sure everyone is aware of the new beverages at McDonald’s,” Hurt said while unveiling the new lineup at his restaurant.
Refreshers bring fruity flavor to the menu
Hurt says the new refresher beverages are already drawing attention from customers looking for lighter, sweeter drink options during Georgia’s warmer months.
