Yeviz B. White, 51, of Kennesaw, is accused of taking $11,000 in cash from the Steve Raymond Chevrolet car dealership, 2155 Cobb Parkway S. in Smyrna, on April 17, according to an arrest warrant from the Marietta Police Department.
White was a finance employee at the dealership. After finalizing a deal on April 17 with a customer, White was supposed to place the money in a safe with another employee, but never did so. White was fired on the same day for a different issue and he walked out with his back pack. Later the company found out about the missing money. White did come back on April 25 with $4,500 of the missing $11,000, according to the warrant.
White is charged with theft by taking – greater than $1,500. He was arrested on May 13 at 8:55 p.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records…
