The Atlanta Fire Rescue Department says two people were found dead after a house fire along Valley Ridge Drive SW.
Firefighters responded to the home being on fire shortly after 4:15 a.m. Sunday. Upon arrival, they found heavy fire throughout the first floor of a one-story home with a basement. The fire extended the length of the structure, including the carport area, attic, kitchen and sleeping areas of the home.
Channel 2’s Bryan Mims talked to the daughter of one of the victims who told him that her father was 49-years-old and lived in this house for more than 20 years.
