Darrell Leisure Blake, 34, of Alpharetta, is accused of going around the front desk of The Country Inn and Suite, 4500 Circle 75 Parkway, Atlanta, and taking an undisclosed amount of currency from the cash register on Aug. 7 at 4:23 a.m., according to an arrest warrant from the Cobb County Police Department.
Blake was found sitting on the patio of the Spark by Hilton, 4502 Circle 75 Parkway, at a time that is not usual for law-abiding individuals. He placed the money on the other side of the gazebo wall in an attempt to hide it. Blake also possessed a glass pipe, which was located in his blue and black book bag, according to the warrant.
Blake is charged with theft by taking – less than $1,500; criminal trespass enter notice; loiter prowl; tampering – tamper with evidence – misdemeanor; and possession and use of drug-related object – misdemeanor.
