ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Dragon Con was almost a bust for a group of fans who booked their hotel nearly a year in advance, only to discover it had been sold and closed for renovations, with no warning.
Lots of angry Dragon Con fans posted online about lost bookings at Staybridge Suites. IHG Hotels and Resorts owned the property, but in January, the company sold the Midtown hotel to Marriott International.
But some of the fans who lost their rooms said no one informed them…
