Just weeks before his scheduled execution date, convicted double-murderer Stacey Humphreys is requesting a new trial from Cobb Superior Court.
A motion for a new sentencing trial due to alleged juror misconduct was filed by Humphreys’ legal team Aug. 28, with a hearing scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Thursday.
