ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A man was sentenced to life in prison for shooting and killing a man at Lithonia Park in 2020, the DeKalb County district attorney said.
The district attorney said Ryan Anson Carter, 41, shot and killed Jamaal Cobb, 29, inside Lithonia Park on Aug. 23, 2020.
The pair had met at a gas station on Gresham Road and I-20 hours earlier after Carter’s girlfriend left him stranded following an argument. Cobb gave Carter a ride and the men went to Lithonia Park, near his girlfriend’s apartment…
