Atlanta Chase Ends In Crash, Suspect Dives Into Dump Truck Bed

A wild scene on Atlanta streets ended with a suspect climbing into the back of a dump truck after crashing a reportedly stolen car, according to newly shared video. The clip, recorded at the tail end of a brief pursuit on Friday, May 9, shows the car slam to a stop, the driver bolt from the wreck, and then scramble into the bed of a passing work truck as stunned onlookers watch officers close in.

The short video, posted by WSB‑TV Channel 2 – Atlanta, is labeled as a clipped portion of the station’s footage. In it, the car comes to rest after a collision, a person runs toward a line of work trucks and hoists themselves into the dump bed, only to be quickly spotted, pulled out, and handcuffed by officers.
