AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) — The Augusta Community Outreach Collaborative (A.C.O.C.) is recognizing the people who serve the community every day with its upcoming First Responders and Community Leaders Appreciation Breakfast.
The event is set for Monday, July 20 at 7 a.m., and will honor law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMS personnel, educators, principals, administrators, parents and other community leaders as the new school year approaches.
The organization has served the CSRA for the past six years. Leaders say A.C.O.C. was created following the death of a local child and has since focused on supporting students, parents, schools and families through partnerships with churches, businesses and civic organizations…
