BURKE COUNTY, Ga. (WJBF) – Burke County Sheriff Alfonzo Williams has been indicted by a Federal Grand Jury in the U.S. State District Court for the Southern District of Georgia – Augusta Division.
According to authorities, the indictment is for the violation of the Hobbs Act Extortion Under Color of Official Right and a charge of Transfer of a Firearm to a Prohibited Person.
