AUGUSTA, Ga (WJBF)- The United States is experiencing a critical emergency blood shortage and we are feeling it here in the CSRA.
Blood donors are urgently needed and organizations like the American Red Cross and Shepeard Community Blood Center are strongly encouraging people to get out and help save lives.
“In the month of June, donations went down by 25%, yet hospital need has gone up by about 3500 units per week. Every 2 seconds, someone in this country needs blood.
