Five people, including three Richmond County residents, have been indicted by a federal Grand Jury on firearms-related charges.
Among those charged are Robert Lee Jones, 22, of Richmond County, who faces counts of illegal possession of a machine gun and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; Steven Allan Darby, 39, and Tavis Tallent, 26, both of Richmond County, who were each indicted for possession of a firearm by a convicted felonl, according to a news releases issued Thursday by the office for the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Georgia.
Also indicted were Raheem Kirkland, 30, of Savannah, for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and Luis Alvarado-Pavedes, 18, of Honduras, for illegal possession of a machine gun and possession of a firearm by an illegal alien…
