AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Augusta commissioners heard an update on plans to build at least 12 new affordable homes in the historic Turpin Hill neighborhood.
Augusta/CSRA Habitat for Humanity was awarded $1.85 million in federal funding for the project. The funding is coordinated through the Georgia Initiative for Community Housing, which brings together city leaders, the Housing Authority and other community partners.
