The Augusta Fire Department graduated a new class of recruits last Friday. These firefighters wrapped up their training with a ceremony at Augusta Tech.
Graduates finished a program that prepared them to respond to emergencies in the city.
One graduate spoke to younger students. He urged them to chase their dreams. “Start, start do what you got to do it’s right here, it’s bigger than what you think it is it’s like a lifetime achievement that you couldn’t even imagine words so to serve your city, to serve your community, serve yourself don’t wait to do that it’s always time for you,” the graduate said, according to WRDW…
