JACKSON, S.C. (WJBF) – For this episode of Your Hometown Roadtrip, the team stopped in to Boondock Farms to speak with Farm Manager, Jarrett Acosta, and Owner, Laura Russo about their business, how it came to be, and what people can expect when they come out to visit.
What is this place and what is it all about?
“We’re a monthly farmers market. We always do it on the second Saturday of the month, so we just opened our season in April, we go through December. We’re located on the old property of the Jim and Lilies Golf Course, and we have our second Saturday markets. So, we have about 40 vendors that come out. We’ve converted the pro shop in to our farm store, so we have all our jams, jellies, pickles, salsa, cider, snacks, all that good stuff in our store,” said Russo…
