DENVER — A man was arrested early Monday after Denver Police said he drove through a secured employee gate at Denver International Airport and resisted officers trying to take him into custody.
According to a probable cause statement, officers were dispatched around 2:13 a.m. Monday to a reported disturbance near 8500 Peña Boulevard at Denver International Airport. An officer arrived at the scene and observed a white Lexus NX250 stopped at a gate.
Police said the driver attempted to back the vehicle toward the marked patrol car before stopping. The vehicle then allegedly drove straight into an airport operations building loading dock gate, causing significant damage before entering a secured employee parking lot, the PC statement says…
