DENVER (KDVR) — Colorado is considered to have some of the best places to live in the country.
U.S. News & World Report released its annually ranked list of the 250 best places to live in the country in 2026-2027. The study chose 250 major cities and compared them using the value of the place, desirability, strong quality of life and a strong job market. This includes income and cost of living.

At the top of the list is Carmel, Indiana, with a median monthly household income of $144,615 and a median home value of $477,625. Meanwhile, several cities across Colorado made the list. That said, only one place scarcely made it in the top 100 best places in the country.

Parker is considered among the top 100 places to live in the country and the best place to live in Colorado. The study said this is because it offers a higher value of living compared to other similarly sized cities.
