The drivers of over 50 vehicles reported damage after a semi-truck spilled boxes of nails and screws onto U.S. 285 westbound near Morrison Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.
Troopers were called to the area near the Morrison Exit just after noon Tuesday, and were able to stop the truck and contact the driver, as well as others that had sustained tire damage, according to a Wednesday evening news release from Colorado State Patrol.
Officials received calls from over 50 drivers affected by the incident throughout the day and into Wednesday, according to the release. They were given insurance information to file a claim with the truck’s company…
