Suspect arrested in shooting in Aurora alley

AURORA, Colo. — Police have arrested a suspect in a deadly shooting in an Aurora alley last week.

The Aurora Police Department said at around 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 7, patrol officers responded to a report of a shooting in an alley between the 1400 blocks of Dallas and Clinton streets. When they arrived, they found a 25-year-old man with a gunshot wound. He later died at the hospital.

The police department said investigators learned that a group of people in the alley began to argue, then one man opened fire and shot the victim, whose name has not been released. The shooter ran from the scene before officers arrived, police said…
