ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (KDVR) — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Englewood on Saturday night, according to police.
Englewood police said officers responded to the crash around 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of S. University Blvd. and E. Floyd Ave and found the motorcycle rider unresponsive after the rider crashed into the side of an SUV. Police said the rider was traveling between cars when the crash happened. The rider died at the scene.

The crash comes as road safety experts warn drivers and riders to be especially vigilant as motorcycle traffic increases during the summer months.
