DENVER (KDVR) — Church and Union closed over the weekend after nearly two years in the Union Station neighborhood.
On Friday, Church and Union Denver posted on its social media that it was closing on Saturday. The restaurant is known for the writing all over the ceiling and serving up modern American food.

“From our first visit to Denver five years ago, we fell in love with this city, and that feeling never left us. Serving the LoDo community has been a privilege and a joy we will carry with us,” the restaurant said in the post.
FOX31 reached out to Church and Union Denver and the 5th Street Group on the restaurant closure and is still awaiting a response. While the restaurant didn’t provide a reason for the quick closure, this comes shortly after the spot in Denver was under fire for the pop-up section in the basement…
