DENVER — A man was killed in a shooting in west Denver Monday, the Denver Police Department said.
Police said the shooting happened Monday evening in the area of West Arizona Avenue and Garfield Lake Park in the Mar Lee neighborhood. The victim died at the scene, police said.
Tuesday, flowers and candles were placed under a tree at the park as a memorial. Timothy Munos, who said the victim was his brother, told Telemundo Denver that the victim was fishing at the park “when everything went wrong.”…
