A Colorado homeowner captured an unlikely photo earlier this week—a large black bear lounging in his neighbor’s backyard just feet away from the neighbors’ pet dog. In the photo, the two appear to be hanging out peacefully. In reality, Lucas Eads, who took the photo, says the dog (Sully) was barking at the bear, but the bear was way too relaxed to care much.

The photo comes from Arvada, Colorado, where bears aren’t uncommon, according to Eads. However, this bear seems to be getting a little too comfortable hanging out in backyards. In the end, Eads told local news that the bear calmly walked away down the sidewalk, leaving Sully in peace (and also in one piece, thankfully)…
