DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) – Storms wreaked havoc in parts of the Denver metro Saturday afternoon, flooding roadways, stranding drivers — and even requiring a snowplow!
Heavy rain and as much as 3 feet of hail clogged streets in Douglas and Arapahoe counties, resulting in nearly a dozen vehicle rescues.
South Metro Fire Rescue said crews also responded to two separate water rescues at Chatfield State Park after four adults and a dog on paddleboards found themselves in a dicey spot when winds picked up…
