The Front Range Passenger Rail Board of Directors adopted a plan to begin rail service between Fort Collins and Denver starting in 2029 at a July 31 meeting. With unanimous support, the directors agreed to implement a three-phase plan that will expand passenger rail to cover a 190-mile-route along the Front Range, connecting 12 cities.
Called the Colorado Connector, or CoCo, officials announced the first phase of the project earlier this year.
