On Dec. 3, 1993, 31-year-old Leto Willis was found dead on a Denver street in what police ultimately ruled a homicide. Thirty-three years later, the case remains unsolved — and Denver police are asking for help.
In a Saturday news release, the Denver Police Department asked anyone with information about the murder or Willis’ “friends or associates at the time of his death” to reach out to Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at (720) 913-7867 in reference to case number 1993-608152.
Willis was stabbed to death in the 2500 block of Glenarm Place and Welton Streets, according to a Colorado Bureau of Investigation cold case file. He was transported to Denver General, where he was pronounced dead, Denver Police said…
