A recruit with the Denver Sheriff Department died Wednesday after he became unwell following physical training.
Recruit Dorbor Mulbah, who began the police academy on Jan. 26 and was set to graduate in May, began experiencing discomfort after physical training on Tuesday, according to a statement from Denver Sheriff Elias A. Diggins. He began receiving medical attention from Denver Sheriff Training Academy staff, and from Denver paramedics when they arrived.
Mulbah was transported to a local hospital and died Wednesday morning after receiving overnight care, the statement said…
