1 seriously injured after vehicle crashes into South Platte River

DENVER (KDVR) — One person was seriously injured after a vehicle crashed into the South Platte River in Denver on Tuesday.

The Denver Police Department told FOX31 the crash happened late Tuesday evening near West Evans Avenue and South Platte River Drive.

DPD initially reported that five individuals were involved, but later confirmed seven people were in the vehicle at the time of the crash.

One of the individuals suffered serious injuries. However, the conditions of the remaining six are currently unknown.
