Williamson County to celebrate America250 with free birthday bash

America celebrates 250 years of independence in 2026. The public is invited to celebrate America’s semiquincentennial on Sunday, June 14, at a red, white and blue birthday celebration including food, music, games and entertainment.

The free, family-friendly event will be at Old Settlers Association, 3300 E. Palm Valley Blvd., in Round Rock from 1 to 4 p.m. Free cupcakes and ice cream will be provided, with additional refreshments available for purchase from onsite food trucks.

Scheduled entertainment includes A Sock Monkey Circus puppet show, free balloon figures, Colonial-era dancers, Sun City Georgettes, Sun City Singers, patriotic face painting, colonial-era re-enactors, 1770s-themed games and a performance by the Patriotic Fife and Drum Corp during the retiring of the flags…
