Texas Medical Board suspends license of Austin doctor following manslaughter charge

AUSTIN, Texas — An Austin doctor has had his license temporarily suspended by the Texas Medical Board (TMB).

The TMB said a disciplinary panel temporarily suspended the license of Samuel Byungsung Lee, while claiming that his continued practice of medicine “poses a continuing threat to public welfare.” The suspension was effective as of May 27.

The suspension comes after the TMB said Lee was arrested and charged with manslaughter in Florida…
