NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas – A Hays County sheriff’s deputy has been arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, according to a press release issued Monday evening by Hays County Sheriff Anthony Hipolito.
The release, issued July 27, 2026, at 6:15 p.m., states that on July 26, 2026, Hays County Sheriff’s Deputy Rodrigo D. Deleon was arrested by the New Braunfels Police Department and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, a Class B misdemeanor.
