Former assistant principal cleared by jury in child indecency trial

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A former assistant principal with IDEA Public Schools in Round Rock was found not guilty after he was accused of “inappropriately touching a student on school property” in 2025, according to the Round Rock Police Department.

On Thursday, a Travis County jury unanimously found Aaron Freeman not guilty of the charge of indecency of a child by sexual contact.
