Pflugerville is losing its only Chick-fil-A for more than 2 months

Every day will be Sunday for Chick-fil-A enthusiasts in this Central Texas suburb the next few months as the fast-casual chain temporarily closes one of its outposts for a months-long renovation project.

Chick-fil-A’s restaurant in the North Austin suburb of Pflugerville temporarily closed Thursday afternoon, September 3 ahead of an approximately two-and-a-half-month’s long revamp in the works. Restaurant officials confirmed the short-term closure in a social media post early Thursday morning, teasing ahead to a reopening closer to the mid-December timeframe.

“We look forward to welcoming you back in December to a newly improved space,” the restaurant wrote, adding: “Thank you for your support and understanding, we will see you later, Pflugerville!”
