FOX 7 morning show adds reporter after major Central Texas move

After two years of reporting in a small Central Texas market, a news reporter is making a major jump to one of the state’s biggest and most competitive media markets. Julieanna Jackson announced on social media that she is now a morning reporter for FOX 7 Austin.

Jackson joined Good Day Austin, FOX 7’s morning news team, on Tuesday, September 8, according to her Instagram post. Prior to that, Jackson worked for KCEN, an NBC-affiliated television station in Temple, a town between Austin and Waco.

In her farewell message to the KCEN community on August 26, Jackson said she covered a wide variety of news topics in the area over the past two years including education, ranching, data centers, crime and more.
