AUSTIN, Texas — The Texas Education Agency has confirmed it has opened an investigation into Austin ISD amid ongoing controversy over the district’s Pride Week activities.
“TEA can confirm that an investigation is open,” the agency said in a statement to CBS Austin. “Because the matter remains ongoing, TEA cannot comment further at this time.”
