AUSTIN, Texas — An Austin high school community is rallying around one of their own after ICE detained a student following a traffic stop last week.
According KVUE’s partners at the Austin-American Statesman, 18-year-old Luis Fernando Cabrera was driving home from a late shift at Popeyes when a state trooper pulled him over for expired registration and later turned him over to immigration agents.
