Over each of the last two seasons, the Ohio State football team has taken down Texas. In 2024, it was in the Cotton Bowl, which propelled them towards winning the national championship. Last season, the Buckeyes took down the Longhorns at home in the Shoe in the season opener.
This year, the Ohio State Buckeyes travel down to Austin in Week 2. Both teams will get a warm-up game in Week 1 before this massive clash. These are two of the best teams in the country again, so this game will certainly have College Football Playoff implications.
In the offseason, Texas added Cam Coleman from the Transfer Portal. The former Auburn wide receiver was viewed as one of the best prospects in the portal.
