Pflugerville man gets 25-year sentence for family violence, meth charges

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A man was sentenced Wednesday after being found guilty of assault – family violence and possession of methamphetamine related to a Feb. 2025 incident.

According to the Williamson County DA’s Office, following the jury’s decision, 51-year-old Dale Bustamante, of Pflugerville, was sentenced to serve 25 years in prison.

“During the trial, the victim testified that within the past year, Bustamante had threatened her with a knife, struck her with a cane, and committed numerous other assaults,” the DA’s office said. “She also testified that, during this same period, he threatened to kill her and take her son from her.”…
