BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A man is dead Thursday after being struck by a vehicle while riding his bike in east Bakersfield.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened just after midnight after a 39-year-old male was riding his bike on southbound Weedpatch Highway, just south of Eucalyptus Drive.

Another male driving an Infiniti sedan in the same direction then collided with the bicyclist after stopping the vehicle.
The bicyclist was ejected and suffered fatal injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene…
