BPD searching for man accused of breaking into Jake’s Tex Mex and stealing electronics

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying a man accused of breaking into Jake’s Tex Mex and stealing electronic items.

Police said on Friday, May 22, 2026, at around 3 a.m., the suspect allegedly forced entry into Jake’s Tex Mex restaurant on Oak Street and stole electronic items.

The suspect is described as a man in his 30’s, 5’7” to 5’9” tall, with a slim build, short brown hair, with numerous tattoos on his neck, chest, arms, and legs…
