BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Panorama Park, known for its beautiful sights and paved trails, is also getting a bad reputation for teen takeovers and murder. This weekend, a shooting and hit-and-run left a woman in critical condition at the park.
It was Saturday morning at 2:30 a.m. Shots rang out across northeast Bakersfield. The sound of bullets whizzing was captured clearly on a nearby homeowner’s security footage.

Then a vehicle sped down Panorama Drive.
A woman, who Bakersfield police investigators believe was not the target of the shooting, lay horrifically injured in the street. She was run over, shot and left on the pavement. As of Monday, she is still in critical condition, but alive…
