BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A man found guilty of murder in a shooting over a stolen motorcycle that killed a woman in Oildale received a life term in prison Friday during a hearing at which the victim’s adult daughter spoke of her loss.
Luis Villachana was sentenced Friday to 25 years to life plus 49 years and eight months in prison for the shooting death of Ruth Cummings.
