BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Bakersfield police are seeking a man for questioning about a break-in and burglary earlier this month, in which a homeowner reportedly lost $135,000.
At around 12:40 p.m. on August 3rd, 2026, suspects broke into a home in the 2300 block of Cobern Street, just south of McKee Road. One of the suspects ran from the home with property and cash valued at approximately $135,000.
