Prosecutor objects as defense seeks another postponement in DUI crash that killed married Bakersfield couple

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) —  A prosecutor on Friday objected to another trial postponement sought by the defense in an alleged DUI crash that killed a married couple. The matter is expected to be argued next week.

Defense attorney Paul Brar, representing 23-year-old Anabell Correa, wants to postpone the trial “to retain or work around possible expert witness testimony,” according to a summary provided by the court.
