BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — As cases of Valley fever are continuing to rise in Kern County, public health officials are aiming to boost community awareness to detect the illness earlier and help curb infections.
Valley fever, sometimes called the San Joaquin Valley fever, is a fungal infection that can cause symptoms including fevers, coughs and tiredness.
