BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — CHP Bakersfield will deploy additional officers on Sunday, May 10, 2026, on Niles Street to reduce motorcycle crashes in the area.
Officers will be looking for both motorcyclists and drivers who commit violations that make roads dangerous for other drivers. Those violations include speeding, following too closely, unsafe lane changes and improper turning.
